This week is dedicated to the first workshop of MSD13, developed in collaboration with Consorzio OASI Arzaga.

Within the OASI, the risto-bar represents the beating heart of the facility – a space where hospitality and proximity meet, connecting hotel guests and the internal community with the surrounding neighborhood and an international community of students, workers, and travelers.

In this context, our students are working on designing “micro-experiences” that can enrich the risto-bar offering and respond to the needs of these diverse audiences, both in terms of “proximity” and “hospitality”.

For the occasion, we had the pleasure of welcoming Barbara Di Prete, Associate Professor in the Department of Design at the Politecnico di Milano, for an inspiring introduction to the OASI project and the collaboration with POLI.design, followed by a field visit of the place with Alex Toselli, General Manager of OASI Arzaga, and Chiara Gargano, Project Design Coordinator of Consorzio Farsi Prossimo.

A special thanks also to Agnese Rebaglio, Associate Professor in the Department of Design at the Politecnico di Milano, for her valuable support and contribution to the initiative.

This workshop’s outcomes will contribute to enrich the broader collaboration between POLI.design and Consorzio OASI to implement the OASI Arzaga service offering.
