Time to plan the Field Experience
For the students of the XIII edition of the Specializing Master in Service Design, the time has come to start planning about their field experience.
We shared a dedicated moment together, with the support of the POLI.design Training Office, during which students were guided through the next steps. In this phase, they will be supported in choosing the path that best fits their interests and goals, understanding how this important experience connects their academic journey with a 475-hour training period in the professional world.
Students will now choose the path that best fits their interests and goals. They can engage in a curricular internship or an activity akin to an internship, gaining hands-on experience while reflecting critically on the activities carried out, the skills developed, and how this experience relates to the tools and methodology acquired during the Master’s programme.
Alternatively, they can undertake a professionalizing project, a research-based opportunity developed in agreement with the Master Board and POLI.design. This path allows students to explore a specific topic in depth and develop an innovative outcome, potentially involving a company or an external reviewer as co-supervisor.
An important step to connect learning, research, and professional growth.
