Workshop Wrap-Up - From Vision to Impact
Today marked the conclusion of the first workshop of the Specializing Master in Service Design, developed in collaboration with AWorld, official partner of the United Nations’ ActNow campaign.
Over the past two weeks, the students have been designing AI-powered service concepts that foster organisations’ inner development, helping employees grow individually while contributing to a sustainable collective impact. From the creation of a virtual forest that only grows through collective effort, to an app that encourages the development of soft skills through a voice assistant and customised paths enabled by artificial intelligence.
Some teams have explored new ways to strengthen the sense of community among colleagues, even anonymously, while others have turned the learning process into an interplanetary journey, where each new topic is a planet to be explored and the path is mapped out like a real logbook.
During today’s final review, after presenting the projects to Alex Armillotta, Marco Armellino and Alessandro Lancieri of AWorld, the students received direct feedback rooted in real-world priorities and perspectives.
This was followed by a peer feedback session, reflecting on their strengths, challenges and team “superpowers” developed during the project.
It was a powerful learning journey, from research to insight modelling, concept development and storytelling, inviting them to explore how transformation starts from within.
