Celebrating the Graduation of the 10th Edition of the Master, shaping a Brighter Future

Yesterday was an unforgettable moment for the students of the 10th edition of the Specializing Master in Service Design at POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano. It was a pleasure to celebrate their achievements, after a year of hard work, effort, and resilience.  Equipped with a various toolbox of skills and experiences, they are now ready to create a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

Student’s projects have covered topics ranging from LGBTQ+ inclusiveness in the healthcare system to behavioral change to encourage differentiated waste disposal. And then, again, a support system for inclusive education was developed, besides new solutions for tourism and hospitality in Italy and abroad, just to name a few. All of this shows the usefulness and pliability of service design and its applicability. This is like a megaphone spreading the power of service design in tackling complex social challenges, leading the creation of positive change in the world.

The Specializing Master in Service Design is not just about lectures, pills, workshops, masterclasses and internships. Students spent their daily lives together, shared fatigue and joy in group work, forming a group not just of colleagues but of people who share a common vision for a future: a group of friends.

The 10th edition students’ journey has ended, but it’s only the beginning. It’s time to get on the springboard, take a breath, release, and dive into the world of work. For some of them, the path has already taken a direction, for others, it is taking shape. We are so proud to plant the seeds and let them grow, creating new practitioners, new innovation projects, new visions, and new awareness about the role of service design and its impacts.

The Master Board congratulates all the students for achieving such a milestone in their career and life and for the dedication they showed, wishing all the best for what will be going on in the future.
