Free employees to experiment with big ideas

In this post, Gijs van Wulfen, from FORTH Innovation Method, talks to us about how organisations state innovation is a top priority but only one in five employees feels supported by their management to be entrepreneurial and proposes some actions for the organisations to support and stimulate their employees innovative capacity. He suggests that the companies provide “free” time for employees to experiment with their own big ideas for new processes, products, services or business models and states that this will generate new processes, products and services brought to live by their initial founder and ‘product champion’, while creating a great place to work and fostering a culture for innovation in an ever fast changing world.
