From Insight to Intervention

Wrapping up the Behavioural Design module, today’s session – guided by Zuzana Peskova and Chiara Casadei was all about turning insights into action. After laying the theoretical foundations yesterday, students spent the day applying behavioural principles to design meaningful interventions.

Working in teams, they revisited their behavioural statements and developed prototypes of nudges—subtle but strategic solutions aimed at guiding user behaviour in context-specific ways. The groups tested, refined, and presented their concepts, practicing how to design for real human decisions, not just idealised user journeys.

The module closed with a reflection on the ethical implications of influencing behaviour, encouraging students to approach behavioural design not only as a powerful tool, but also a responsibility.
