How can design shape more inclusive and future-oriented public services?
During the Service Design for Public Sector & Social Design module led by Ottla Arrigoni, students explored the role of design in transforming institutions, communities, and social systems.
Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on group work, the class applied co-design, systems thinking, and prototyping methods to real-world challenges, from digital government platforms to public health and social innovation initiatives.
The module concluded with scenario-based projects focused on creating sustainable and impactful interventions grounded in community needs, ethical engagement, and long-term vision.
A valuable opportunity to experiment with new approaches, navigate complexity, and imagine more meaningful public services for the future!
